Thank you. Over the past few months, 6,156 fans from 68 countries around the world have come together to help bring War of the Dragon: The Wheel of Time® to life. On behalf of the team of designers, artists, production and marketing folks who’ve worked on this game and this Kickstarter campaign, thank you for your trust and your support.

So…what happens now, exactly?
Kickstarter will be processing your pledges and charging your credit cards for the amount due now, which does not include shipping costs or any applicable taxes.  So over the next couple of days, you should expect to see that first charge post from Kickstarter.

Then, in the next couple of weeks, we’ll be opening up the Backerkit pledge manager – you’ll receive a credit in Backerkit for the amount of your pledge, and that’s where you’ll confirm your shipping details and pay any necessary shipping costs or taxes. You’ll also be able to make changes to your pledge for a couple of weeks, while Backerkit is open, if there are any other add-ons or items you’d like to include.

Then, in the second half of July, we’ll be locking orders and closing Backerkit. You’ll see a second charge, covering shipping costs and taxes, and then that will be that – everything will be all set until it’s time to ship finished games next year.

What if I need help?
At this point, the best way to get help with your pledge is to email [email protected] – that’s where all of the specific information about your pledge and its status will be; the folks monitoring comments and messages here don’t have access to everything, and will usually need you to email Support to solve whatever problems might come up along the way. So don’t be a stranger! If you need help, drop us a line.

We’ve got a lot to do to finish making War of the Dragon: The Wheel of Time a reality on your kitchen table…so we’re going to get back to it!  We’ll have some updates along the way as we hit certain production milestones or have other news to pass along, but, for now, get your pledges locked when Backerkit opens, and sit back and relax, and we’ll have more for you soon.
